Once the stencil has been drawn out they moved on to the next step: (is that the proper use of punctuation Ev?)
Scooping out the insides. It's a messy job but. . . someone has to do it!
Carving takes concentration,
and a steady hand.
Didn't they do a great job?
I think these are the reason I had so many more trick or treater than I normally would.
Although this probably helped as well. More than one child told their mom that they needed to go through the path into the gazebo!
And now for the princess part of the post. . .
Doesn't she look fabulous?!

Yes, she does look fabulous. And so do your pumpkins.

How fun! Love the creativity in the pumpkin carving department!
oh fun, fun, fun! My kids carved pumpkins too but we were so busy bringing kids to lessons and hockey that we didn't get to participate in the trick or treat hand out :(
And yes, Holly looks gorgeous. I just saw pics of th wedding on facebook!
They all look fabulous. I'm surprise, I thought it would be too cold for trick or treating up there!
We had three pumpkins. One child was young enough to want one, but couldn't carve it and didn't even choose the design. One chose an extremely happy face, but couldn't use the knife. One did it all herself and ended up with a gross, mean face with pumpkin innards coming out of its nose. Aw, such a sweety. Gone are the days of playing princess and having tea parties. We've entered a new phase.
Your pumpkin look great and so does Holly. Maybe Beth will go back to playing princess in another 10 years.
Definitely great job on the pumpkins! And tell Holly that she looks beautiful! I saw pictures of the wedding on facebook and she looked great there too!
How fun! Were the kids actually happy they helped out once it was finished?
Holly is beautiful! Quite a princess!
Fabulous princess!! AND pumpkins, they never get to old to be called kids do they? Thanks for sharing:)
