Yesterday I had the first ladybug sighting of the season.
You might be surprised however, at where I found her. . .
On the bottom of Henry's cowboy boot during yesterday morning's church service!
Yes indeed. . .
Spring is on it's way!

Rosa, I kid you not...I have been vaccuuming them up by the gazillions in my house! We live in an 1852 farmhouse with a fieldstone foundation that is full of lovely spots for ladybugs and box elder beetles to over-winter, and every spring we have an infestation. I am not kidding when I say that on bad days I can vaccuum up 100 or more off my windows. We've had a box elder beetle in our dinner twice already this month. So if you want to see ladybugs, come on over! :o)
