Dental Dilemma . . .or . . . How Brave AM I ???

So here's the dilemma. . .

The dentist is finally back in town and I had an appointment first thing this morning.

I woke up at 5:30, grabbed a quick breakfast and made a bee line for the front garden.

Shovel in hand, I got to work. I knew I would be top toothless all day and I just had to get a little gardening in. I have a profusion of shrubs, roses, perennials and annuals that need to be planted . Some things just can't wait!

I managed to tidy up one small spot in the garden and plant a clematis, a rose bush and a bunch of annuals in the area before my dentist's appointment. I also added one of my concrete leaves. It's covering a small ant colony I just can't seem to get rid of.

Live and let live. . . that's my motto.

Anyway. . . back to the dilemma . .

After visiting the dentist I am missing these. . .

Leaving me looking somewhat like this . . .  (except, I'm a girl. . . and I wear glasses . . .)

So here's the dilemma. . .

Today is the perfect gardening day. Cloudy and cool with the the odd sprinkle.

I've barely made a dent in what needed to be done in the garden. . .

Am I brave enough to work out front without my top teeth??? (Keeping my head down and my mouth shut of course . . .)

I am just itching to get out there.

I'm just not sure if I can do it.

Could you???

Absolutely! Get out there and be unsociable to passers-by. No talking, no smiling - just stay focussed on the gardening.

In reality, you'd probably be surprised how few people would even notice.

been there done that,,,,,, you could also just put a LARGE bandaid across the mouth and people will know right away that you have a problem and are unable to speak??? oh Rosa it is only one day and not 3 months like some do (or did) when they have (had) their original teeth pulled LOL love you with or without if that helps and keep smiling as I know you are doing while reading this text (I am)

it is a perfect day for gardening so get out there and have a song in your heart!

Nope, I wouldn't :-) at least that would be my initial reaction but, like Evelyn said most people wouldn't even notice. I did without toofies for a while originally and just kept my hand in front of my mouth which, for sure, was noticible. Just go work in the garden and smile when people walk by :-)

Go for it--the summer is too short to waste one moment of outdoor time. You could wear a bandanna (like in the westerns) and if someone asks, tell them you have inhaled one too many mosquitoes.

Lol!
My thoughts exactly! Not only did I garden I even went shopping for garden ornaments! :D

Gardening in my own yard I could handle--going out in public--not so much. I admire that much courage.
