He think's everyday is Valentine's day.
So I know better than to expect anything.
Jada and I went for a walk yesterday morning and when we got home, found a surprise in the mailbox.
And this is what I found in my mailbox . . .
How sweet is that?!
When Henry woke me up this morning he wished me a Happy Valentine's Day.
I informed him that it was yesterday . . .
" I know, but everyday is Valentine's Day! And I'm a thrifty dutchman so I'll probably wait until the middle of March to buy you roses. But . . . maybe not. Because you could just grow your own and that would be way better . . ."
Hmmm . . .
I've decided that he meant I could buy a new rose bush and grow flowers . . .

Henry sounds like uncle Ben,he says the same thing about valentines day so I never expect to get anything either :o)
What a nice thing for the school to do !
I actually asked to be on their delivery route this year because I NEVER get their cards. Next year I am sending the school a card so that they know I love them, even if they don't show their love for me. :-)
Hey, can I send the principal a note with a link to your post? I'm sure they'd like to see that the neighbourhood appreciates their efforts.
Absolutely Ev,
I was just trying to figure out how to let them know I appreciated it. :)

Dear Paul,
I searched, but was unable to find your email so I'm unable to apologize in person. I've always been super careful when I've used photos that are not my own and for the most part I avoid it altogether. I don't remember writing this post but it is definitely not my image. I have removed it and I'm so sorry. I was obviously being quite lazy when I wrote that post and I feel just terrible. Rosa
