Photography

I'm going to a photography evening tomorrow, being held by an amateur photographer in one of our churches. The idea is to dust off the camera sitting on your shelf and develop your artistic skills.
It sounds interesting and challenging so I signed up
The first assignment is to come to the evening with three pictures whose title are WINDOW.

This is my first picture. (And of course the reflection of my living room window in her eye was deliberate. Ahem.)

One down, two to go. . .

Those reflections are called "catchlights", and that's what every photographer always strives for...they make the subject look alive. Great capture!!

Oh, you are so clever! What a great photo. I do hope so much to move closer to town and be able to take such classes.

You said it, Carla. They say you retain the knowledge longer if you teach it someone soon after you learn it yourself. Can I sign up for a one-on-one tutorial?
