This is what happens when you don't keep track of the weather forecast closely.
I've been able to leave these pansies out for the last week as pansies are hardy to -5C.
I knew it was going to cool off and that snow was a possibility but. . .
It was not supposed to drop below -6C!
These pansies were in a nice sheltered spot and should have been fine.
Only I didn't listen to the weather before I went to bed.
It went down to -10C.
Sigh.
Today's the last day to enter the contest. Check out Tuesday's post for details.

They look so sad! They'll brighten up though, right?
BTW, you've been tagged. Check out my blog to see.
Blessings,
Jenny
Can you believe it?! It snowed like crazy on Vancouver Island, the Interior and a few places in the Valley.....I hope all my plants were brought inside the wharehouses so they don't look like your very frozen pansies :(
I am so sorry about your pansies, Rosa. Sort of how I feel about Clyde the cat killing the bird. Oh well, that's another story. And a pansy is not a bird. But I know you must have felt terribly disheartened when you woke up and found them.

Oh, honey, I'm sorry! Such a disappointment. I'm hoping that some will survive.
Even here in OK our weather has been cooler than normal.
